VDOT is Jack Daniels' unified fitness metric derived from race performance. SPLIT calibrates your VDOT from a recent race or time trial, then sets all training paces — Easy, Marathon, Threshold, Interval, Repetition. More objective than heart rate, more reliable than feel-based zones.
